Feast of Blood

Hey gang!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I've started ANOTHER project. It's a graphic adaptation of the very first vampire book ever written (1845...40 years before Dracula). It's called "Varney the Vampire, or the Feast of Blood", and it was written by the guy who wrote "Sweeney Todd".

I need to check out more of your stuff...I read the Ghost Zero "Cast Iron Coffin" in one of my Moonstone Phantom comics and thought it was pretty darn cool!

(And dangit, now I want a LeMat revolver too! ;) )

Thanks, my friend...I'm glad you enjoyed "Cast Iron Coffin". I love doing GZ shorts..they're very satisfying.

I finally had a chance to read Ghosts With Guns this morning. Fantastic@! As good as I thought it was going to be, it was better. Way cool. Such a great origin for Ghost Zero with Pallentine possession Quick's body and Eddie being tied to the ring. I really liked the 3 panel layout in "Sea of the Dead". When you were doing the story a panel at a time were you envisioning it as a book because it flowed really well. Plus the detail that came through with "The Fleshless Legion" as far as packing a whole story into 4 pages. Reminded me of Matt Wagner. It really makes me look forward to reading the complete Doc Monster. Great, great stuff.

Thanks for the comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed the GwG comic...it's certainly a labor of love for me! I enjoy taking the fantastic and wrapping it up into the everyday, so yes, there's incredible things happening in Eddie's life, but the really interesting questions is: how does an average teenager deal with it? Eddie winds up with lots of interesting choices to make in the future...all of them with repercussions. It's a story I'm looking forward to telling for a long, long time!)
